The Telephone:

Amahl & The Night Visitors:
This is the tender, heart-warming story of Amahl, a poor shepherd boy, and his devoted mother.
They are visited one night by three kings, who are following a star on their way to see the baby Jesus. It’s a knock at the door that will change their lives forever. Amahl and the Night Visitors was originally written for television in 1951 and has since become an annual tradition in the USA –
becoming one of the most frequently performed operas of the 20th century.
