PANEL: Led by ANDY GUNTON. Special guest is SHAIN SHAPIRO, one of the world's leading music and cultural policy thinkers. Shain's book 'This Must Be the Place' introduces and examines music’s relationship to cities. Including JULIA HILTON Green Leader of Hastings Borough Council, Old Hastings and Tressell county councillor at East Sussex. Subjects include: What does it mean to be a music city? How can music support the whole community? Do we need a music policy for the area?
NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES: Discuss the importance of music to the area and how we can better support the industry at all levels.
