Make a Kanzashi inspired Flower fabrication, brooch or fascinator with a festive twist.
Wind down with our hand embroidered Kanzashi Inspired Decorative Flower workshop
This 2.5 hour workshop will teach you how to make a Kanzashi inspired decorative flower.
You will learn a brief history of the beginnings of this beautiful craft and how this craft can allow us to accept imperfection and enjoy the rustic-ness of our creations.
You don't need any previous sewing experience and will be guided through the creative process of with our experienced tutor. Have a treasure trove of fabrics to choose from! You will learn two types of petal folding and at the end of the workshop you will have the choice to either finish the product into a brooch or fascinator.
Nibbles and a glass of wine or bottle of beer, plus tea and coffee provided!
Proceeds go towards our community art projects providing vulnerable individuals with mental health support in deprived areas in Lambeth, London.
