Join us for a free community Christmas evening in the heart of Waihī Beach village. Kai, activities, carols and more!
This Christmas, we’re closing the road through Waihī Beach village and setting a long table right down the centre... and there’s a seat waiting for you.
Christmas in the Village is a free evening for everyone. Come with friends, bring the whole whānau, or come along on your own and meet your neighbours. However you arrive, you’ll be welcome at the table.
Bring your own kai, or grab something local!
Securing your spot at the table is completely free. Bring your own kai and non-alcoholic drinks, or pick up a takeaway from one of our local eateries and join us.

Please note that this is an alcohol free event.
New this year: Christmas buffet by Flatwhite Waihī Beach For those who’d like their Christmas dinner sorted, Flatwhite Waihī Beach will be serving a fully gluten-free Christmas buffet on site – $30 for adults and $18 for kids. Accessibility We want everyone to be able to join us at the table. Accessible seating, accessible toilets and accessible parking (Edinburgh Street) will all be available on the night. If you have any questions or specific needs, please get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
