On Tuesday, December 23, you are invited to share in a Carolina Forest Christmas tradition, “Christmas in the Forest.”We will gather for an evening with our Forest community to sing carols, hear a Christmas message, participate in communion then we share the light of Christ by candlelight as a community.
The cafeteria of Ten Oaks Middle School will be transformed into our vesion of a Christmas worship space. This includes a gathering decked out with seasonal worship engagement kits (Think multi-sensory support for worship!) at your tables/seats.
As you arrive for Christmas in the Forest, you will be greeted with hot chocolate and snacks.
We are excited to create a community Christmas gathering meant for all ages to come together for:
- Community
- Carols
- Communion
- Candlelight
- Christmas message
Our gathering will include Pastor Tyler leading our community in a time of “sharing the light” with candlelight for the adults and glo sticks for the kids.
100% of our offering from Christmas in the Forest (in-person and online) will go to our #ForTheForest fund. This fund is exactly as it is named - it funds ministry needs in The Forest.
As a young church, it is important for us to be generous with what we are entrusted with from the beginning. Thank you for sharing this value with our church!
Seating will be provided (we are gathering in the school cafeteria) and there is plenty of parking available in front of the school. Handicap access and general public drop-off is available at the front entrance.
Because the of property's access to the boulevard walking path, golf carts are also welcome!
We ask that all children be accompanied by an adult.
