Santa Parade and Lights Switch OnSATURDAY 26 NOVEMBER
Festivities begin at 12noon
It’s the beginning of Christmas in Bridgend and there’s lots going on for all the family, all day long as well as some wonderful shopping and gift buying to be done.
What’s happening?
12 noon– Bridge FM main stage starts and our entertainment pods.
Santa’s Grotto opens with our friends the Bridgend Lions at Carnagie House.
Lots going all day so stay locked into our pager for more updates.
3.30pm - Parade gets ready
4.45 pm– Santa arrives at Lighting Up Ceremony – main stage.
Come and join our elves and Father Christmas and see the Town’s festive lights twinkle into life at the Christmas lights switch on in Queens Street and Caroline Street (outside Barclays Bank).
Where is it all happening?
Queen Street and the Main Bridge FM Festive Stage – As well as putting on a show for Santa on the main stage as they pass through Town there will be live music and entertainment throughout the day on junction with Caroline Street.
Wyndham Street – Santa’s Grotto Carnegie House
Dunraven Place – Children’s rides
Is there more?
Of course! Lots more and surprises.
Lots of street entertainment – Face Painting, jugglers, stilt walkers, children’s characters and children’s rides.
Finally at 5.30pm we wave farewell to Santa and his elves and remember to visit us again and shop locally this Christmas.
