How to Get There:
By LIRR (Recommended): We will meet at Penn Station and will be taking the 11:35 AM Port Jefferson branch train to Hicksville station. I will be waiting from 10:45 AM by the waiting area for tracks 13-21. From Hicksville station, it's a quick 0.5-mile walk (8–10 minutes) north on Lake Avenue to the entrance.
By Car: Drive east on the Long Island Expressway (I-495) to Exit 49N (Pinelawn Road), then follow signs to the venue—parking is free and plentiful.
Rideshare/Taxi: Uber/Lyft from Penn Station (\~$80–100 one-way) or St. James Station (\~$10–15).
Estimated LIRR Cost from Penn Station: $20 round-trip (off-peak one-way: $10; peak surcharges may apply if traveling during rush hours—buy via MTA app or ticket machines).
