Christmas Greetings LIVE! The Nutcracker, White Christmas, Home Alone & More!

Experience an evening of Festive Classics and Live Ballet on the 20th December 2024 at St Georges' Church, Stockport. 18:00 Early Concert & 20:30 Late Concert.

A concert full of sparkle and joy! Violinist Matt Glossop and the Bloomsbury Soloists brings LIVE Ballet to Stoke Minster. Performing an enchanting and magical Christmas concert full of festive music classics including the most beautiful Christmas Ballet: The Nutcracker, Christmas Classic Songs and Movie Soundtracks with beautiful string arrangements.

On Friday 20th December we are running two concerts. When purchasing tickets please select the desired Early Concert or Late Concert Time.

'I had the privilege of attending one of Matt’s concerts in Leeds this Saturday. Words do not do justice to the beautiful soulful performance he gave with his fellow musicians Tim Abel who is a master pianist. Not only is Matt an extremely talented violinist but he presents with charm and great sophistication. This ensemble is not to be missed. They are incredible and their music touched my soul.

Recently I went to see Matt Glossop playing in a concert in London. I was in awe of his energetic, powerful and spine-tingling performance.

Matt gave an explanation about each of the pieces he played and had a wonderful repertoire. Certainly the best violinist I have seen live, a superb experience!
