Christmas From Around the World at Union Craft Brewing

This is one of our favorite ways to learn from each other — by cooking dishes inspired by celebrations and traditions from different cultures and countries. You can interpret the global comment however it resonates with you:

• Something from your heritage
• A dish from a place you’ve visited
• A recipe you’ve always wanted to try
• Or even a creative, global twist on a classic

We’ll gather, share stories, and enjoy a beautifully diverse table of holiday food.

This isn’t a fancy, buttoned-up holiday party. It’s a come-as-you-are, bring-what-you-love, meet-some-new-people kind of night. Whether your holiday memories are shaped by tamales, latkes, jerk chicken, bibingka, pernil, dumplings, stollen, or Grandma’s sauce — we want you at the table.

Info: We want to continue to facilitate connecting between attendees, so prior to beginning our meal and discussion, we will commence with a little ice breaker activity.

Info: The main event! Build a plate and get to know your neighbors. Make sure to save room for dessert!

Info: Before ending the evening, we pack up our leftovers and prepare them for donation into Baltimore’s Community Fridge Network. We will distribute our dishes the following day to ensure the surplus of our feast can support the most vulnerable in the community. We will also facilitate a closing activity while we go over logistics.9
