Christmas Food Drive for Seniors (65+)

This Christmas season, Rooted Benefits is sponsoring a special food distribution for seniors ages 65 and older, hosted in partnership with Gateway Church’s food pantry program.
In addition to the senior distribution, Gateway Church will also provide their regular food pantry items to all other registered attendees who check in during the event window, while supplies last. All standard pantry guidelines, household limits, and eligibility rules used by Gateway Church will apply to everyone.
Registration is required. This event is not open for walk-ups. Proper registration helps ensure fair distribution and adequate preparation for every household.

• Seniors must be age 65 or older for the senior distribution
• First-come, first-served
Gateway Church pantry is a drive through program, please remain in your vehicle and a volunteer will be there to greet you. Gateway Church Food Pantry serves the following zip codes 77373, 77379, 77380, 77381, 77382, 77384, 77385, 77386, 77388, 77389, 77391 and 77393. If you live outside these areas and need assistance in locating your local food pantry, please check with the Montgomery County Food Bank or the Houston Food Bank.
If this is your first time to receive food in Montgomery County, there are some forms to be completed. Please follow the event link to print our the necessary forms to be competed by recipient. If the recipient does not have a way to complete a head of time, the volunteers will have copies available to you.
