Most important fact: You have to wear a Christmas jumper.

OK... you don't have to. You can chose to pay a donation to charity instead.

Impossible are putting on some Christmassy snacks. There may be games. There will definitely be a bar for drinks of the alcoholic and no-alcoholic variety.

For those that have not been before, First Thursday is an opportunity for professionals, traders, grafters, business owners, managers, ‘movers and shakers’ from York and the surrounding area to meet informally for a drink and a chat. There is no set format, it’s all very relaxed and it’s nobody’s marketing gig.
