Join us for the 10th annual Christmas Eve Open water swim in Lake Grapevine! Can not believe we have been doing this for 10 years! Arrive at 7:00 and should swim 7:30 am (after dawn)
This isn't a polar bear plunge (that is new years day) but a full OWS.
Perfect way to start the holidays with a nice swim, maybe try out the new gear you have for training for Norseman, Celtman or Escape from Alcatraz. The Little Elm 70.3 is going to be cold... but this will be colder so good practice.
Plan is to swim from Minnow Loop to the Island and back aprox 2200 yards. this is an unsupported swim...recommend a swim Buoy, Wetsuit, gloves, boots and a cap.
