Christmas Eve Kirtan: Music, Meditation and a Plant-Based Feast

Join us to open your heart, enter a sanctuary of spiritual sound and experience the profound peace and joy that comes from immersing ourselves in these powerful healing vibrations

What it's all about: Kirtan is a call and response musical meditation from the yoga tradition, considered the most potent form of meditation in this day and age. Bathing in and singing these powerful transcendental sound vibrations cleanses the heart and mind and brings peace to the soul. We’ll mix it up with some other seasonal sing-alongs and a heart-cleansing guided meditation

We’ll share food at the start of the program. At 7pm, we’ll open our meditation with a guided breathing practice and a resonant mantra circle that takes you deep into a meditative space. Then, sing along with ancient mantras in a call and response format.

Beginners highly encouraged, all ages, voices and experiences welcome!

Parking: There is plenty of street parking in the area

Accessibility: Thanks to an amazing volunteer crew from Fernhill Ecstatic Dance, the venue now has an ADA accessible ramp entrance! We will have floor pillows and some seating. If you aren’t comfortable sitting on the floor, please come on the earlier side to reserve a chair (you’re welcome to come as early as 6pm.)

Bringing guests: Please do! Just ask them to RSVP separately or RSVP for them with their name and email address so that we can get an accurate headcount. Kids are welcome (no RSVP needed).
