Please join us and bring your family or friends on Wednesday afternoon, December 24th, to give some holiday love to CACC animals. We will provide in-kennel enrichment (IKE), giving treats and TLC to the dogs and cats, handing out Busy Bones to the dogs and cat toys to the cats, and tucking them into their tidied-up kennel with fresh water and a brand new cozy blanket. You can provide special attention to some animals by reading them your favorite holiday story or even singing a song. There will be opportunities to snap some festive photos that you can share to help animals get adopted. It's always a fun afternoon.
Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control (FCACC) will provide refreshments, including hot cocoa and cookies!
12pm-1pm Sign-In/Waivers, Introductions, Refreshments and Holiday Cheer
1pm-3pm Help spread the joy to the dogs and cats of CACC!
If you are a CACC volunteer, please sign up using your CACC Galaxy account, but all others can use this sign-up. Please note: Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult, and we ask that each adult have no more than two children with them. IMPORTANT: All guest volunteers must sign waivers for both Safe Humane and CACC. For your convenience, they are attached in the files section below. You can print and bring them along, or we'll have copies on-site.
