As we gather to reflect on the birth of Christ through Luke 2:1-20, we’ll explore the powerful theme: "What Do You Fear? Good News is Louder Than Fear." In a world often ruled by fear, we are reminded that the good news of Christ's birth breaks through and resounds with joy.
The Christmas season can sometimes present a serene picture of Mary with a quiet, sleepy Jesus. Yet, the host of angels proclaimed, “Glory to God in the highest!” What would it look like for us to proclaim this good news loudly and joyfully? In a time when fear can overshadow our lives, let’s come together to amplify the message of hope and peace, just like the shepherds who ran through the streets of Bethlehem.
