Christ Church Episcopal is pleased to announce the return of the popular December concert series, Christmas Downtown. The Wednesday concerts, beginning at 12:05pm and lasting until 12:35pm, will offer a festive break in the workday. Performers for the series are:
December 4 – Christ Church Episcopal Upper School Choir, directed by Todd Monsell
December 11 – Greenville Symphony Orchestra Wind Quintet
December 18 – Friends of Christ Church Jazz Ensemble
To round out the concert experience, three local food trucks will be on site with lunch available to enjoy on the Christ Church grounds or to-go. One Eyed Donkey (December 4), Mac Attack GVL (December 11), and the Cluk Truck (December 18) are local favorites which will start offering lunch for sale at 11:30am.
Concerts are free and open to the public and no tickets or advance registration is required. Lunch is available from food trucks at varying costs.
This program is funded in part by the Metropolitan Arts Council with funds received from the City of Greenville, BMW Manufacturing Company, Michelin North America, Inc., SEW Eurodrive and the South Carolina Arts Commission.
