Christmas Dove Memorial

You’re invited to join us for the Acts of Dove Christmas Memorial Service, a heartfelt morning of remembrance, reflection and togetherness.

This special event was created to give you a gentle space to pause and honour those you love. We know the festive season can be a difficult time, and the truth is that many of us feel that same ache. This service is a way to come together, to remember, and to know that the love we carry and the pain we feel are both shared and understood.

The morning will include music, poetry, readings and the symbolic release of white doves, each one representing love, hope and remembrance. You’ll also enjoy performances from a piper and singer, and light refreshments will be served at the end for anyone who would like to stay and chat.

This year’s memorial is held in partnership with Anderson Maguire Funeral Directors, with support from David Sommerville Independent Celebrant, Whispers in Time Memorial Jewellery and The Hurlet Crematorium. Their generosity means the event remains completely free to attend, allowing every family the chance to come together without cost or worry.

Tickets are free but limited due to hall capacity. Please only reserve a space if you are sure you can attend, as every ticket has a cost to the organisers and represents a place another family may deeply wish to have.
