CHRISTMAS COOKIES FOR THE ST. LOUIS COUNTY JAIL

This Christmas, we’re turning the kitchen into a Christmas cookie factory with a purpose, and everyone is invited!
Join us for a fun Recovery Community Event on Monday, December 14 from 1:00–4:00 PM as we come together to make, exchange, sort and package Christmas cookies for the men and women spending the Christmas season at the St. Louis County Jail.
We’ll be making six different kinds of Christmas cookies, adding Christmas candies, and packaging everything together. Our cookies will be delivered to the St. Louis County Jail on Wednesday, December 16.
You don’t have to be a professional baker. Come ready to laugh, meet people, share recipes, roll some dough, decorate cookies and help us create something meaningful for people who may be spending Christmas away from their families and community.
WE NEED COOKIE SPONSORS TOO!
We’re looking for individuals, families, businesses, churches and community partners willing to sponsor the ingredients for one of our six cookie varieties. You can sponsor supplies, come bake, help package, or simply show up ready to lend a hand.
No perfect cookies required. Crooked frosting is welcome. Questionable decorating skills are welcome. Anyone planning to specialize exclusively in taste-testing may require supervision.
BAKE. EXCHANGE. PACKAGE.
Come spend an afternoon with the recovery community creating something sweet for the men and women at the St. Louis County Jail this Christmas.
Cookies build community. Kindness reminds people they have not been forgotten.
