Are you ready to light up the night? On the second Saturday in December the clubhouse joins forces with the Magnolia Point Women’s Club to help MPGCC sparkle with small lanterns lining the streets. What is luminary night about? The Annual Luminary Night began in 2001 as a fundraiser to support the many local charities supported by the Women's Club. Beginning with the 2014 event, all proceeds from the luminary sale are used to provide scholarships to young women graduating from Clay High School. This annual event has grown each year and now is combined with a Christmas Cart Parade hosting by the clubhouse.
Do you love Christmas? The crisp feeling in the air provides the perfect weather for our cruise around the neighborhood. So, how do you join? We ask you to decorate your golf cart in Christmas Cheer and join our friendly competition for the CHEERMIESTER award. If you don’t have a cart of your own, we can provide one for you for $25/ per cart. You’ll need to call the golf pro shop to reserve: (904) 269-9276 x:1. Please be sure if you are using your own cart that it is properly registered with the golf pro shop and your cart number is visible the evening of the event. We begin lining up the carts at 5 PM (down behind The Pub) and the voting begins. We leave the clubhouse at 6:15 PM just as nightfall sets in the see all the beautiful luminaries and Christmas lights throughout our “Community of Unity”. There is always a guest appearance from Santa & Mrs. Claus! Once finished, we allow final ballots to be cast and then we announce the 2021 WINNERS! We will have the kitchen open with a limited menu and tons of holiday drinks for you to enjoy.
