Join us on the Third Sunday of Advent, Dec. 15th, for a very special service at 11:15am.You do not want to miss it, and please take the opportunity to invite others to hear the music of angel voices!
Come and Hear the Joy!
Our Sanctuary Choir will present a very special cantata offering called "Winter's Grace" composed by Joseph M. Martin.
*We light our candles of hope.
*We sing our songs of gathering.
*We read the ancient words of the prophets and cling to every promise like a quivering leaf on fading branch.
Then Christmas comes sweeping into our fading hope and with its jubilant glorias and peaceful carols of love. The darkened mangers of our hearts are transformed into cradles of light, and we surrender our doubts and fears for the shining joy of star-shine and angel-song.
We awaken to mystery and miracles. We embrace the beautiful impossible of heaven on earth. We find the heart of Christ waiting for us like a sanctuary of life.
And so, in the bleak mid-winter we gather to worship at the cradle of the newborn King. We cast away our sin and our sorrows. We put away all of life's burdens and distractions. With our arms and hearts emptied of all earthly clutter, we can now freely reach for our gift . . and it reaches back to us. It is grace . . . and it is wrapped in a baby named Jesus.
You don’t want to miss this great way to celebrate the season. Join us in the Sanctuary at 11:15am for this wonderful service.
Nursery will be available for both services and Sunday School (beginning at 8:45am for the 9am service until the end of the 11:15am service.)
