🌟 Christmas Candlelight Tour | 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
Begin your evening gathered around the firepit for enchanting storytelling as historic reenactors share tales of 18th-century holiday traditions. Then, follow your guides by lantern light as they lead you through beautifully candlelit cabins, each glowing with festive charm and rich in history. Along the way, you might even encounter Tennessee’s first governor, John Sevier!
🔭 Stargazing with UT Physics & Astronomy | 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM
Peer into the heavens with telescopes on the main lawn. At our pavilion you can enjoy engaging talks throughout the evening by University of Tennessee graduate students, who will share fascinating insights into their latest research and discoveries.
🧤Stay Cozy and Comfortable🧣
Dress warmly: coats, hats, gloves, and sturdy shoes are recommended for exploring uneven grassy areas and rolling hills.
Bring blankets and camp chairs for stargazing in comfort.
Warm up by our firepits, placed throughout the grounds.
Don’t forget a flashlight to help navigate darker areas of the site!
