Christmas Candle Contest

Show off your candle-making skills at the biggest Glow event of the year! Prove yourself as the best and most creative candle-maker our studio has ever seen by making a masterpiece of a Christmas themed candle and winning one of our three prizes!

3rd Place: Travel candle of your choice

**Winners will be contacted by phone call on Monday, December 23rd.

We will have free snowflake and jingle bell charms to add on top of your candle that signifies your candle as part of the contest, and this will give you a bit of Christmas flair to start off with. From there, we will have other Christmas themed decorations for inside and on top of your candle, but it is up to you to come up with the most impressive Christmas candle you can make.

Along with the contest, we will provide free Christmas themed snacks, drinks, and stickers all free of charge!

Your tickets guarantee you that number of entries into the contest, and upon entering our studio at your chosen time of arrival (selected when you reserve your tickets), you'll find a tile with your name on it marking the table you'll be seated at. After arriving, one of our candle experts will give you a walkthrough on our paraffin and soy wax candles, and how to turn them into beautiful Christmas displays.

From there, we will provide further guidance on how to handcraft your creation with step-by-step instructions. We are also available for questions throughout the process.

Once you are finished, we will help with finishing touches to make sure your Christmas candle comes out the way you envision.

At the end, we will ring you up based on our typical pricing. There is no extra fee for the contest, so the pricing is standardized. For our paraffin wax candles, there is a studio fee per candle maker of $17 per child (under 13) or $19 per adult (13+) plus the price of the candle shape that is chosen (between $8-$95). For our soy wax candles, it is simply the price of the vessel that is chosen to make the candle in. Most candles come out to about $40-$50 per person. There are also charms, glitter, and curios that cost a bit extra, but can really make your artwork come to life.

Finally, while candles are typically available the very next day for pickup, we will need time to finalize, process, and judge the candles for the contest, so any entry into the contest will not be ready until Monday 12/23.

The judging criteria will be based on creativity, style, scent, candle cohesion, and of course how well it fits the Christmas theme!
