Join us this Christmas for a morning textile workshop, where participants will be guided through an introduction of hand embroidery- including an explanation of materials and tools and demonstration of foundational stitches with individual check-ins throughout. There will also be refreshments and homemade biscuits included on arrival. After spending some time practicing, you will be given the opportunity to start embroidering onto a pre-stencilled Christmas motif, hand painted onto quality linen fabric, which may be completed at home. A range of high-quality embroidery threads in a variety of colours will be available to use, as well as festive-themed embellishments like sparkly beads and velvet ribbons, so that you can reflect your own unique style, taste and personality through your embroidery practice.

Once finished, your Christmas embroidery would be the perfect meaningful present to give to a loved one, whilst simultaneously being a special treat to yourself. Allowing time for yourself to slow down during the busy festive period and enjoy this mindful, restorative craft would be the perfect present from you, to you. No experience is necessary.
