Get ready for Christmas and join us for a special day of festive fun at our free ‘Christmas at The McManus’ event on Saturday 2nd December. Find the perfect gift at the museum's first ever pop-up festive market, showcasing some of the wonderful independent makers, businesses and suppliers from the local area. We will also have festive-themed family-friendly crafts, activities and storytelling throughout the day, with the McManus Café on hand serving up delicious food and hot drinks.
Activities on day:
? Christmas Tales for Families
Enjoy wonderful interactive Christmas stories in The Victoria Gallery from local storyteller Robbie Fotheringham. From 1.30 - 2.15pm and 2.30 - 3.15pm
? Festive Crafts
Pop into the museum’s Family Space and Victoria Gallery to create some festive-themed crafts with the museum’s Creative Learning Team. From 10am - 4pm
?Winter Works on Paper
Our annual art display in the Victoria Gallery
? Christmas Market
Located at various locations on the museums first floor, the Christmas Market will run from 10am – 4pm and is a lovely opportunity to meet some wonderful local suppliers and stock up for Christmas!
? Dundee Community Youth Orchestra
Dundee Community Youth Orchestra will be joining us to perform a selection of Christmas music in the Victoria Gallery at 11:30am and 12:30pm
