The St. John Paul II Schola Cantorum will present “Christmas at St. Adalbert’s” in concert on Sunday, December 28 at 2:00 pm at St. Adalbert Basilica, 212 Stanislaus Street, Buffalo. The concert will tell the great story of our salvation through the beauty of Catholic choral music. Enjoy choral masterpieces of Advent and Christmas performed in this magnificent church. The performance will be followed by a singalong of traditional Christmas Carols. After the concert, view the historic A&MA's Christmas window displays exhibited in the church.
A free will offering will be accepted to support St. Adalbert’s.
The St. John Paul II Schola Cantorum is an independent, “a cappella” choir dedicated to preserving, promoting and performing sacred choral works from the great treasury of music of the Catholic Church. Their repertoire ranges from Gregorian Chant to masterpieces of sacred polyphony from the Middle Ages to modern times. Works by Rheinberger, Praetorius, Lauridsen and others will be performed.
