Christmas at Santa's - An Immersive Escape Room Experience

It's a snowy winter evening when one of Santa's gingerbread men has been found crushed. Santa is upset and cannot deliver his presents until the mystery has been solved. As a detective you will interview characters like Elves, Gingerbread men & women, Reindeers and more! It's up to you to figure out who did it. The longer we wait, the colder and darker winter gets. Can you solve the mystery and save Christmas before it's too late?

If your girl loves mystery themed novels and detective shows, then they will love this immersive program! This mystery is led by a live detective facilitator who will be online with the girls and leading them through the adventure. In the experience, girls will feel like they've entered into a movie or video game, as they will be looking for clues, solving puzzles and riddles and trying to catch a culprit!

This experience will give them the chance to test their critical thinking skills and logic skills in hypothetical situations based in fantasy and reality. Girls will learn how to excel in puzzles and riddles that involve colors, wordplay, shapes, and math. Throughout the activity, they will be encouraged to share and debate hypotheses with other girls to work together to solve the mystery before the program ends.

Learning Goals:

- Improve pattern recognition ability and reasoning ability through various puzzles

- Distinguish between linear vs. non linear puzzles

- Develop strategies to maximize time

- Learn to think like a puzzle writer

- Learn to make the seemingly "invisible" answer, visible

How do I access the program and what devices can I use?

• The program is held through Zoom. You can use any device that runs Zoom (laptop, tablet, phone) Girls can either join the event from their own homes, or they can meet in person and join the event on one or multiple devices.

Are girls allowed to share a device?

• Girls are allowed to share a device as long as each girl has her own ticket.

If I sign up multiple girls for the same time, will they be working together?

• Yes, every girl that signs up for that event time will be in the same Zoom, and will be working alongside other girls to solve the mystery.

What type of characters will girls meet in the program?

• Girls will get to talk to and interview fun characters like Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph, Elves and Gingerbread Cookies.

How long is this event running for?

• This event is running until the end of December 2024, with multiple event times each day. Each program runs for 45 minutes.

What are the minimum and maximum participants for an event?

• We run our public events for a minimum of 2 girls and a maximum of 18 girls. Each event typically has around 3-5 girls.

What age range is best for these programs?

• The event is open for girls 5-18. The puzzles & riddles are age appropriate, and the faciliator can make them harder or easier based on who is in attendance.
