Hello our lovely pals, it’s been quite a while since our last event at RCHD due to the pandemic and now that things are finally getting back to normal, we are also planning to resume our visits to the home! To get things started and to slowly introduce ourselves back to the residents, we will be planning a Christmas celebration on 21st of December! For those who have joined us before, it will be a similar event where we will gather some residents at the multipurpose hall for a small gathering with food and entertainment. We will need volunteers to help take care of the residents who will be on wheelchairs as well as volunteers who can perform for them as entertainment. If you can sing, dance, play instruments or any form of entertainment that you can think of, please kindly let us know through message so that we can arrange details accordingly. We invite everyone to come forward to help make the residents’ day, no matter how short or how simple it may be, it’ll definitely be appreciated. Thank you in advance!
Also, we would need guitarists (or any form of mobile instruments) to play some Christmas songs as we walk through the wards to bring some festive cheers to those residents who have to stay in bed, as the volunteers sing carols to them. This is quite important cos it’ll be hard to sing without music! So if you can help, pls drop us a message as well!
