Christkindlmarket Chicago 2024

You won't find many better Christmas events than Chicago's annual Christkindlmarket which bring German-style Christmas bazaars—complete with gift vendors food stalls and plenty of spiced glühwein—to Daley Plaza just in time for the holiday season. Scroll through for all the details you need to know about this year's markets and prepare yourself for the abundance of schnitzel glass ornaments and mulled wine (served in a souvenir boot mug of course) still to come this year. 

Event Details:

The Daley Plaza edition of Christkindlmarket open on Friday November 22 and will remain open through December 24. Both markets are open seven days a week though hours vary. Christkindlmarket will not return to Wrigleyville this year. 

Timings:

The Chicago market is open Sunday through Thursday from 11am to 8pm and Friday through Saturday from 11am to 9pm. It will be open on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve from 11am to 4pm.

Admission to Christkindlmarkets is free and prices for food beverages and gifts vary based on the vendor and location.
