Christians in a “woke” world: a call to courage, confession, and love - a Bible study
To say that you are "woke" is to say that you are either a victim or a victimizer. This designation is made on the basis of race, gender, and/or gender identification, among other things. Watch words of the "woke" culture include social justice, systemic racism, privilege, and critical race theory. What do these all mean? And what is the Christian response to this "woke" culture and mindset?.
In "Christians in a ‘woke’ world: a call to courage, confession, and love – a Bible study" Rev. Paul Dare helps to identify the sources, the mindsets, of this "new" cultural norm, as well as the Christian response to it.
On Sunday, September 11, 2022, we at Trinity will begin this 16 part study as our adult Bible study following worship.
We want to make this available to as many people as possible so we will also be offering it on Monday evenings, starting September 12 at 7 PM.
You are invited to attend either one, or both, or switch between the two depending on your schedule.
Study books will be provided at no cost, but if you would like to donate to offset those cost we greatly appreciate it. You may also order a book for yourself from Amazon.
