How does our faith address the causes and effects of climate change around the world? And how can the stories we tell and watch help--or hinder--our ability to be responsible and faithful participants in the transformations ahead of us? We'll talk about these questions in a virtual visit from Dorothy Fortenberry.
Dorothy is a writer and producer for The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu and the forthcoming Extrapolations on Apple TV, as well as a playwright whose work has been performed all over the country. She's the 2021 Hunt Prize Laureate for fiction and drama, an award given in recognition of " the work of young writers whose work inspires and promotes the best of Roman Catholic intelligence and imagination.” A three-time Emmy nominee and winner of a Writers Guild of America award, Dorothy speaks and writes widely on how her faith intersects with her work. It will be a great conversation that you won't want to miss. Join us at 10 a.m. in the adult education room or by Zoom:
