What's the waitlist you ask? Allow us to elaborate... due to the uniqueness of this event and the need for even ratios, we have devised a ticketing system that will ensure there are the same amount of women and men attending the event. At the latest, you will receive an email the day before the event informing you if you have gotten an "entry ticket" or not. If you fall in the latter group of not getting an entry ticket, don’t give up, there is still an opportunity for you to be able to come! To increase your chances of being able to get an entry ticket... we encourage you to reach out to your Christian friends of the opposite sex and invite them, as this allows more of your gender spots to open up. If in the unfortunate event we aren’t able to get you an entry ticket due to gender ratios needing to match, your method of payment will be refunded.

A mixer is a fun & low-pressure way for singles to come together to meet...it's like a party but you don't have to worry if that cute girl/guy over there is in a relationship...CUZ THEY AREN'T! We advertise this event as a "Christian dating" mixer so the majority (if not everyone) will be fellow believers!

You can expect to have a GREAT time and meet a ton of people who are in the same life stage as you are! With up to 75 single Christian guys and 75 single Christian girls, there's no way you'll leave without a handful of new friends and potentially a new romantic interest! You can also expect a few games throughout the night that will get everyone interacting and mingling. Both men and women need to bring three sticky notes with one open-ended question on each sticky note. This will be used for a game. In addition to the sticky notes, men need to prepare 5-10 small cards (can be sticky notes or cut 3x5 index cards) that have your name, phone number & your social media (if you don't have social media, write your email). We call these "flirty business cards" and we will explain how you will use them at the event!

Glad you asked! Here at IYKYK Dating we are passionate about changing dating culture- specifically "ghosting" culture. At this event, we ask the men to boldly make the first move by giving a woman his "flirty business card" if he wants to continue getting to know her after the event. In return, we ask the woman to boldly accept or decline the card WITH THE CAVEAT that she reach out to him to either continue getting to know him or to tell him she is no longer interested within 48 hours (aka The 48 Hour Policy) if the number is accepted. By committing to this ticket, you are agreeing to the 48-hour policy and understand if a guy gives you their card and you accept it, you will be expected to uphold the 48-hour policy. On the flip side, if a man hands out a card, he MUST respond to the woman within 48 hours as well when she reaches out. If we find out that after giving or accepting a card there was no further communication within 48 hours, you will officially be placed into "IYKYK Dating Jail" Just like jail in real life, in order to get out, you must do two things:
You must reach out to the person, apologize and ask for forgiveness (let's stay biblical, yall!)
Pay a "bail" price to get "out of jail" if you'd like to participate in any of our future events. The bail price will be equivalent to a regular ticket ($75). We do this to hold people accountable and deter people from ghosting
We want to use IYKYK Dating as a way to help people grow, especially in the areas of communication & integrity- we want people's outside to match the inside. We believe our yes should be yes and our no should be no. We could go on and on about why we have chosen to have this policy, but we hope you understand we have thought through the best way to go about this and we take this very seriously. Remember: you can decline the card in person - this is still honest communication, just do it in a loving way :)

We do not offer refunds and all sales are final. If you are unable to make it to the event, you may send your ticket to someone of the same gender but they must have the ticket in hand (or on their phones) for us to scan upon check-in.

• If you are not feeling well, please respect the rest of the event by not coming, we do hope you feel better quickly and encourage you to give your ticket to someone else of the same gender to take your place, to help keep even men/women ratios!
