🌈 31st October | Sharing God's Truth
A Christian Community Event – Everyone Is Welcome!
Everyone in our community is welcome to come together in faith, love, and unity to share God's Word, spread His truth, and bring the light of Jesus Christ into our communities.
As Christians, we are called to live righteous and obedient lives, walking according to God's Word rather than conforming to the ways of this world.
We are not called to participate in pagan traditions or celebrations that go against God's teachings. Instead, we are called to stand firm in our faith, be the light in the darkness, and use every opportunity to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.
What was intended for evil, God can turn around and use for good!
📖 Genesis 50:20 reminds us that what was intended for evil, God intended for good.
📖 Romans 12:21 “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Rather than participating in traditions that do not honour God, we can use the 31st of October as an opportunity to share something far greater than lollies — God's truth, His love, and the precious gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
❤️ Encouraging Christian Families to Get Involved
I encourage Christian families to use this opportunity to teach their children what it means to follow Jesus and walk in His righteousness.
Instead of dressing our children in costumes associated with darkness, we can encourage them to dress as disciples of Jesus, biblical figures, angels, or in ways that represent the Kingdom of God.
I encourage families to prepare Salvation Packs with their children to share throughout their communities.
These packs could include:
- A few lollies or small treats.
- Bible verses or Scripture cards.
- A message sharing the Gospel and gift of salvation.
- Small gifts of encouragement, hope, and God's love.
This is a wonderful opportunity to teach our children the importance of giving, serving others, and sharing God's Word.
Jesus said:
“Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 19:14
Let us raise children who know God's truth, stand firm in their faith, and understand the joy of sharing Jesus with others.
🕊️ How You Can Participate
This is a community-wide Christian event, not restricted to one location.
Whether you are at home welcoming children or out in your neighbourhood with your family, you can participate!
If children visit your home, consider giving them a Salvation Pack alongside their lollies.
If you are out in the community, encourage your children to share their Salvation Packs with others in a safe, friendly, and respectful way, under adult supervision.
If enough families are interested in gathering together, I would be happy to organise a local park within the city where we can come together as a Christian community.
However, the main purpose is to encourage families everywhere to share God's Word wherever they are.
✨ Our Calling as Christians
📖 Mark 16:15 “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”
Sharing God's Word is our calling as servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We do not need to participate in worldly traditions to reach others. Instead, we can use this opportunity to demonstrate God's love, stand firm in His truth, and bring His light into our communities.
Our purpose is not to condemn others, but to lovingly share the truth of Jesus Christ and the gift of salvation.
This event is about teaching our children that giving is greater than receiving and that the most precious gift we can share is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Whether you are a Christian or simply someone within our community, everyone is welcome to receive kindness, encouragement, and the message of God's love.
There is no obligation or expectation — only an opportunity to share, give, and demonstrate the love of Jesus.
