Ōtautahi! We’re heading outdoors for our first party of 2026, settling into the gothic surrounds of The Arts Centre Te Matatiki Toi Ora for a special sunrise session as part of The World Buskers Festival.
On Saturday 24 January, we’re welcoming 2XM for a rare live Morning People performance. Ben and Liam Murray have spent the last eight years crafting an unmistakable sound together - shaped by everything from classical and jazz training to hip-hop, club culture and a few unexpected influences along the way.
Their music has landed on labels including Eton Messy, Sengiley, GLBDOM, Slothboogie, Café del Mar and Dansu Discs, and their debut album Love Unbound opened the door to standout moments like Boiler Room, Rhythm & Alps and touring with Jasper Tygner.
Propulsive and built for the dancefloor, 2XM’s live set is perfectly suited to a morning dance under open skies.
As always, Morning People magic will be served alongside complimentary Altezano Brothers coffee, Karma Drinks, and delicious All Good bananas. Morning People in Ōtautahi is supported by the legends at RDU 98.5FM
