Aimee plans to cover: ways to minimise physical effort and to control sensory input; suggestions for assistive devices and smart technology; ideas for setting up a comfortable and nurturing environment; and the importance of saving some energy for enjoyable and meaningful activities.

✦ On Wednesday, 24th June at 1 pm to 3pm
✦ The venue is spacious and has comfy lounge chairs and padded side chairs with armrests.
✦ Afternoon tea is from 2pm to 3pm and is a great time to connect with others. Gluten free and dairy free options always available.
✦ There is plenty of off-street parking on site at the lovely Mary Potter Community Centre, 442 Durham St North, St Albans.
✦ Our in-person meetings in Christchurch are held on the last Wednesday of each month.

✦ About Aimee Foot-McKay ✦
Aimee is an Occupational Therapist who works at Laura Fergusson Brain Injury Trust. She has 11 years of experience working in the community and inpatient settings with clients with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries and a range of other complex injuries and conditions.
Fatigue management is a core, foundational component of the rehabilitation process and therefore supporting clients to implement strategies that work for them has been a large component of the work that she does.
