Christa McAuliffe School Tour: Wednesday, November 30, 2022

Join us for a school tour and come see progressive education at work at Christa McAuliffe School. Christa McAuliffe School is an alternative program for K-8 students living within CUSD boundaries. McAuliffe is a progressive school that inspires kids’ passion for lifelong learning, fosters social and emotional growth, and develops children’s creative minds. McAuliffe teachers integrate project-based learning, collaboration, and conflict resolution to help students develop a love of learning that includes critical thinking and higher order cognitive skills – evaluation, analysis, and synthesis.

Tour the campus while classes are in session, hear from parents and faculty, and ask questions so that you can evaluate whether McAuliffe, a K-8 parent participation school, is the right school for your child(ren) and family.

When registering for this school tour, please note your child's name and what grade your child(ren) will be entering for the 2023-2024 school year.

Please arrive on time as we begin the tours after signing in at 8:40 am. Parking is available in the school parking lot but may also be tight as current families are staying to aid in the classrooms.  There is extra parking available on the streets surrounding the school. Again, please be on time, there will be a 35 minute late cut off.  The tour is a necessary step in understanding the school and choosing to enroll your student and your family.  

Please note that Christa McAuliffe School Tours are for ADULTS ONLY.  Please arrange childcare for your children, as this event is not intended for children and CHILDCARE IS NOT PROVIDED.  We also ask that parents be prepared to be fully present during the school tours, with their cell phones silenced and put away.  

Attending both a School Tour and Information Session are required for enrollment at McAuliffe. The dates for Information Sessions will be released shortly. Please check back for Eventbrite links soon. McAuliffe is in the Cupertino Union School District and subject to the residence requirements of the district.
