Joins us Monday August 24th for a Meet & Greet Fundraiser for Councilman Chris Nettles, hosted by ALPHA Family Group & EA Wealth Management. It's a great opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation, to discuss future plans for our District and City. Your support will help our campaign reach thousands of voters in the upcoming election cycle.
It has been a great 5 years in Fort Worth, and we accomplished so much by working together. Together we have brought over 2,500 new jobs to District 8 with a salary of $65,000, good development for our district with 500 million investments.
We raised the minimum wage to $18 for all city employees, approved keeping the property tax rate flat for this year's budget, ensuring it remains below the no-new-revenue rate, and increased the homestead exemption for seniors and disabled residents to $80,000, to name just a few achievements.
Let’s continue to move Fort Worth forward, the fastest-growing city and 10th largest in the nation, as well as the best place to work, live, and raise a family.
