Local singer-songwriter Chris Kelly is bringing his heartfelt indie-folk to Elder Beer Cafe Newcastle with support from Patrick Gosling.
About Chris Kelly:
Hailing from a small town in the North East of England, Chris Kelly is an Indie-Folk singer, songwriter & guitarist described as 'the flagbearer for British Indie-Folk' - IAMUR and inspired by the likes of Tom Petty, Brian Fallon & Sam Fender.
Chris draws influence from the world surrounding him and provides an honest portrayal of his life experiences through song.
After touring the UK and Europe, Chris has amassed a large repertoire of original music which can be seen live with his full band or in the more intimate setting of him alone with his trusty acoustic guitar.
His debut EP 'Letters To You' was awarded Midweek Music Club's 2018 EP Of The Year as well as his 2021 single, When it Rains, reaching the Top 100 of the iTunes Singer-Songwriter chart.
About Patrick Gosling:
As ex front-man of North East Indie band Far Pacific, Patrick from South Shields, UK has experience of playing numerous venues around the UK, but this is his first musical adventure under his own name and now sees him playing to enthusiastic audiences along with his band of highly talented and experienced musicians.
