Des Moines songwriter, Chris Falcon, has been interested in the connections made through music for over two decades. Whether it was hosting an Open Mic night in Maryland, putting together various combinations of bands, or sending tracks to friends around the country to collaborate on. The latest iteration of this idea is The Musical Communion. While not spiritual in a strict sense, the joining of musicians playing their songs with new people in new rooms has the potential to invite an element of the unknown into the delivery that, he believes, everyone can benefit from.
This edition of Musical Communion finds Chris being joined by songwriters Blake Schneider (Blue House Concerts) and Austin Barnhill (Origami Animals). They present this show in the spirit of community and collaboration to open musical pathways as yet unexplored. Join us!
