Chris Bota is a Grand Rapids based guitarist, music teacher, and songwriter who primarily plays with the American Rock band, Desmond Jones. While not touring, writing, or recording with DJ, Chris likes to spend his time learning, performing, and teaching American Standards of yesteryear and often picking apart contemporary music as well, all while using these influences to guide his own songwriting. Not letting himself be defined by specific genres, Chris likes to say that the music he plays and writes goes by the simple, broad, yet descriptive moniker of "American Music".
Chris has gathered a band of some of Grand Rapid’s best musicians to showcase his newer, original music.. Joined by Hannah Laine, Dale Bales, and a few other special guests, listeners can expect to hear a side of Chris that he often does not present in the public eye.
