Movies and Board Games!
In some families "Family Night" was a big deal... the kids weren't allowed to make other plans and everyone had to spend time at home playing tabletop games together or watching a movie. Well, maybe it was a thing just in board game commercials or on sitcoms. As people in substance use recovery, we didn't always get that opportunity, and many of us have complicated relationships with our families. We DO have our chosen Family in recovery and a popcorn maker. So every second Friday we have movies and board games with out community.
First Friday of the month: Open Mic
Second Friday: Chosen Family Night
Third Friday: KARAOKE
Fourth Friday: Dance Party
Fifth Friday: WiLd CaRd
