Step into the spotlight and discover the dazzling legacy of Lola Falana. The electrifying performer who rose from chorus lines to become the “Queen of Las Vegas.” From her early nightclub performances alongside Dinah Washington to being discovered by Sammy Davis Jr. and starring in the Broadway musical Golden Boy, Falana embodied glamour, versatility, and unstoppable ambition. She went on to conquer film, television, and the Las Vegas stage, becoming one of the highest-paid female performers of her era.
In this workshop, participants will explore high-energy chorus-style movement inspired by Falana’s dynamic blend of jazz, disco, Broadway, and classic nightclub performance. Focusing on posture, precision, musicality, and bold stage presence, dancers will move through guided warm-ups, foundational steps, and a short group routine that channels the confidence and charisma that defined Falana’s career.
No prior dance experience required—this workshop is designed to be inclusive, empowering, and fun, honoring the legacy of chorus girls who carved their own path to stardom while celebrating individuality, power, and collective performance.
