Join us for a “Pay What You Can” dance workshop.
No prior experience is required!
Step into the world of legendary performer Esther Jones, the trailblazing force behind the choreography and training of the Ikettes and the longest-lasting member of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. Known as the “Motha” Ikette, Jones brought unmatched discipline, stamina, and style to some of the most iconic stages of the 1960s and 70s, performing alongside Ike & Tina Turner on major tours and television appearances around the world.
In this workshop, you’ll explore high-energy choreography inspired by the precision, power, and stage presence of classic soul revue performance. Focusing on rhythm, confidence, musicality, and group performance dynamics, dancers will learn combinations rooted in the fierce, athletic style that defined Jones’ legacy.
