Mass in Blue by Will Todd is a dynamic fusion of Latin sacred choral music and contemporary jazz, originally commissioned in 2003. It is recognized for blending driving jazz grooves with strong, melodic choral writing.
Feel the Spirit by John Rutter is a celebrated cycle of seven American spirituals. The work premiered in 2001 and is noted for its vivid, expressive, and often jazzy arrangements that bring new life to traditional melodies.
We would love you to join us for this special concert or maybe come to the rehearsals and try out choral singing as we work on this lovely music. New singers are always welcome.
