The continues with a remarkable young American pianist, Nathaniel Zhang, 3rd Prize Winner of the 11th National Chopin Piano Competition.
Presented as part of the , this concert highlights the next generation of classical music stars. Nathaniel will perform works by Chopin that showcase his extraordinary talent and deep musical expression.
About Nathaniel Zhang
Nathaniel Zhang, 17, studies at the Curtis Institute of Music with Michelle Cann and Sasha Starcevich. A Chopin Foundation Scholarship recipient, he has performed as a soloist with the Seattle Symphony, Hilton Head Symphony, and others. Nathaniel has won the MTNA Junior Performance Competition, the Waring International Junior Competitions, and top prizes in the Hilton Head International Piano Competition, the Nashville International Chopin Piano Competition, and the International Piano-E Competition. A 2023 National YoungArts Finalist, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, been featured on NPR’s From the Top, and participated in the Frost Chopin Academy and Morningside Music Bridge festivals.
