The student choirs of Åbo Akademi University, Florakören and Brahe Djäknar, from Finland are coming on a tour to the Benelux countries in the end of August to showcase classical Finnish music as well as works from international composers. We welcome you to our concert in Citykerk Het Steigner Sint Dominicus in Rotterdam on the 24th of August at 7 P.M.. The theme of the concert is "A hope of a better world" which is interpreted from different perspectives through the music.
The entrance is free, but donations are welcome after the concert.

Florakören and Brahe Djäknar are student choirs with high ambitions. In addition to performing at Åbo Akademi University's conferment ceremony of doctoral degrees among others, the choirs give concerts yearly, such as the Advent concerts in Turku Cathedral. Furthermore, the choirs have visited many countries and competed in international competitions, where the choirs have received praise for their contributions.
The choirs' repertoires consist of varying music, such as sakral pieces, folksongs, classical pieces as well as contemporary music.
