Chocolate Truffle Workshop with Anima Mundi

Looking for a fun and unique evening?

Join ayurvedic chef Oliver Holecek and Anima Mundi at the Alchemist’s Kitchen on February 16th for a truffle-making workshop! Bring a friend, come with a date, or enjoy some self-love and come solo. Love comes in many forms, and all are welcome in this workshop.

You’ll learn how to make ganache, temper chocolate, and hand-roll truffles with fun toppings, all while sipping heart-opening ceremonial cacao. We’ll be using plant-based ingredients and aphrodisiac superfoods from Anima Mundi to make three different kinds of delicious truffles and end the class with a guided chocolate tasting.

Oliver has a degree in Anthropology with an interest in anthro-gastronomy, and mindful design. This background inspired him to start this chocolate company as a way to build a network of ethical sourcing and create a beautiful, delicious product with a good message. Oliver enjoys riding bikes and writing about his travels.

Our goal is to help foster physical and mental wellness through the advocacy of legal plant based medicine and strengthening our connections to the cultures our ingredients come from.

These connections are the lifeblood of our exceptional chocolate, the reason we proudly bear the name "Primo," Latin for "First," a homage to the original, the indigenous peoples who first unlocked chocolate's potential and passed on that knowledge to the folks we source from.

Though we make more than just "plain ol’ chocolate bars,” helping preserve and fortify indigenous/original culture will always be the heart of our company!

Our Apothecary is composed of organic, wildcrafted, and ethically grown botanicals. We aim to continuously source pristine, unadulterated and wholesome medicines for mind, body and soul wellness. Anima Mundi is devoted to making vibrant and medicinally potent remedies that honor the principles of harmony and ancient formulation that have years of anecdotal and traditional evidence. Our founder Adriana moved to Brooklyn from Costa Rica with a mission to bridge remedies from native people within Central and South America to modern day needs and imbalances.
