Chocolate Raspberry Cake Experience

Each experience is created to be warm, welcoming, and encouraging, whether you arrive with friends or come on your own. You’ll learn practical skills through hands-on guidance, enjoy the process along the way, and leave with something you’re excited to share around your table.

In this experience, each guest will create their own six-inch layered chocolate raspberry torte-style cake, featuring rich chocolate cake layers and a creamy raspberry filling. Together, we’ll prepare the filling, and I’ll guide you step by step through assembling, layering, smoothing, and finishing your cake using simple, approachable techniques you can use again and again at home.

Rather than rushing through steps, this evening focuses on understanding the process so you feel comfortable recreating this cake for future celebrations and gatherings. Along the way, I’ll share ideas for adapting the same components for different occasions and serving styles.

During the experience, I’ll also demonstrate how to properly cut and serve a layered cake, and everyone will enjoy a slice from the demonstration cake together at the end of class so we can sample the finished dessert as a group.

You’ll leave with a finished cake, fresh ideas for future gatherings, and the satisfaction of having created something special with your own hands.
