Melbourne's Chitra is back with her awaited debut albumFollowing the success of 2025 releases "Close Proximity" and "Big Shot," these tracks don't shy away from the messy bits: complicated friendships, those conversations you keep putting off, fleeting crushes, and the general chaos of figuring yourself out.
Written everywhere from solo writing retreats (with bad reality TV for company) to Friday co-writes with new faces, then polished up with producer John Castle in Lutruwita, this collection moves between wanting to scream into a pillow and dancing in your loungeroom—sometimes within the same song.
The past few years Chitra has been getting her live show to the best it can be with a stellar band, playing various supports with Phantastic Ferniture, Sorry (UK), and Beyond the Valley. Now, with everything clicking into place, she wants to share a special night with you and her debut album.
