Chipping Workshop - Thursday 6th November - 1pm start.‘How much lower would your score have been, if every chip shot you played during your last game of golf had finished close enough to one putt?’
Notice, that question was not how many chip shots you holed during your round or even, how many chip shots did you have going right on line towards the hole.
The key words of the question are ‘close enough to one putt’.
It’s the same question I have been asking golfers at the start of my chipping workshop for many years now and most often, the answers range from 4 to 18 shots lower (and yes, I get the answer 18 a lot).
The reality is that most golfers find themselves having to play a chip shot quite a few times during each game of golf they play.
It is vital part of the game of golf that requires many different shots to be played with many different clubs.
