Chinese students in Wellington - Mid-autumn Festival Concert

The Mid-Autumn Festival has long symbolized reunion and remembrance. This year’s concert, themed “Sharing the Moon Across the Distance,” brings together Chinese classical and contemporary works through instrumental music, vocal performances, piano, and choir.

More than a festive celebration, this concert resonates with the emotions of overseas Chinese, expressing longing, blessings, and cultural pride. By blending art with tradition, it aims to foster deeper cultural exchange between China and New Zealand, inviting every audience member to experience the beauty of reunion and the preciousness of peace beneath the glow of the moon. The concert is open to everyone. Join us for an evening of beautiful music and cultural sharing!

The concert will officially begin at 5:00. Before the concert starts, there will be a Tea Art Showcase in the foyer, themed “Tea for Harmony.”
